As part of pilot plant and field tests, we are investigating the extent to which the use of airmatic\u00a0Economic and ecological improvements in paint application can be achieved. The measurement was carried out using laser diffraction spectrometry.<\/span><\/p>

It is clear that when using the airmatic atomization optimization, the radial distributions of the mean droplet sizes are significantly homogenized.\u00a0<\/p>

In accordance with the improvements received\u00a0The application efficiency also increased\u00a0<\/span>the average layer thickness in a range between\u00a0<\/span>1 and 3 \u03bcm can be observed,\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>ie at medium\u00a0<\/span>Layer thicknesses of approx. 20 \u03bcm between 5 and 15 \u03bcm.<\/span><\/p>

The following findings were obtained during the field trial:<\/b><\/p>\n

By using airmatic atomization optimization
\u2022 the paint spray becomes significantly more uniform in terms of the average diameter,
\u2022 the dynamic spray patterns widen by approx. 15 \u2013 25 %,
\u2022 the application efficiency for plastic substrates increases by 5 \u2013 6.5%,
\u2022 the average layer thicknesses increase by 10% for plastic substrates and by 7% for metal substrates,
\u2022 There is no noticeable change in the appearance or paint structure.
\u2022 These results were obtained independently of the application parameters set.
\u2022 The installation of the airmatic does not cause any change in any preset air volume flows when regulating pressure.
\u2022 The mean layer thicknesses were tested positive for statistical significance. <\/p>\n

In total, the use of airmatic atomization optimization results in <\/b>a broadening of the dynamic spray pattern and at the same time <\/b>a significant increase in the application efficiency.
<\/b>This results in potential paint savings of 5 to 15 percent!<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
